On washing and drying

I got my washing machine to spin again.  It was spinning great.  Wonderfully.  All was great.

So I put in a load of laundry.  Didn't even attempt to spin.  Since the water and soap goes in before the spin cycle, I now have to put dirty laundry in the dryer.

Putting dirty laundry in a dryer produces smells that aren't even supposed to exist in this universe.

Cthulhu wept.
