I am, officially, out of energy

I don't know why, maybe I haven't eaten enough, or drunk enough, or slept enough, or something.  Maintaining a body can be difficult work, there's so much you have to remember to do.

What I can say is that it's a good thing I have today off because have spent most of it, and look to continue spending much of it, in positions that at least resemble horizontal.

So I encourage you to read what I wrote earlier about Team Big Bird, or to go over to new Slacktiverse and comment on the posts, or go over to new Slacktiverse forums and comment there, but I think any plans of mine that involved being productive today are shot.

I'll see you all later.

  1. Been feeling that way myself today. Fortunately my job is such that I can stay sufficiently ahead of things to be able to take a relatively unproductive day now and then.

How is the sleep going? I'm told this is one effect of getting into a normal cycle. (Among many many other things that could cause it, obviously.)

Seriously? I have been getting into a normal cycle, or at least trying to. I thought that was supposed to give me more energy, not less.

None of the, "Sleep is important, make sure you get enough," things come with a warning, "Oh, by the way, it'll knock the energy right out of you if you try to get into a normal cycle."

    1. I'm given to understand it's a bit like jet-lag, confusing the body as the adjustment progresses. But I'm not an expert.
